Chris Ferguson

Born in Portland, Chris grew up in Forest Grove.  Chris returned to Portland his sophomore year in high school where he attended Westview H.S.  He was a teammate of Mike Cero, both graduating in 2006.  Chris was the starting shortstop his senior year for the Wildcats under Coach Jeff Shull.  He played under Greg Cero in 2004 where he led the state in double plays.  He later attended Clackamas Community College where he played two years as the starting shortstop and also filled in at second base.  Chris assisted in coaching duties with Mound Time in the spring of 2008 and has played a pivotal role in grooming all-star shortstop Dylan Hollister and second baseman Nick Braukmann.  Chris is currently working toward a business degree at Portland State University.
